IoT (Internet of Things)

While simple in concept and use, IoT devices and the Cloud support for them is actually quite complex and requires many technologies to work together....  

• Hardware device and embedded software
• Wifi or cellular network connection
• Cloud Connection over the Internet (using MQTT or similar protocols)
• The Back End (AWS) software and services integraton data handling, security, database, etc.
• The Front End (User WebApp or device App) to access the data and configure or manage the devices

Collectively, this is known as the IoT "Full Stack."

Over the past few years we have worked on multiple IoT (Internet of Things) projects for ESDI clients.  Our long experience in embedded hardware and firmware along with AWS Cloud expertise and experience are combined in completing these.

• Cloud based Agricultural IoT (livestock) monitoring
• Smart Cloud-connected Specialty Water Faucet
• A protoype Cloud-connected Scanning Wireless Bed Controller

ESDI IoT Platform / Demo

Earlier this year, we developed an in-house IoT Platform / Demo to make IoT projects more cost effective.  It also provide a Full Stack platform for quick IoT prototyping and concept demonstration -- from hardware through Cloud and to User WebApp to access.
